Great Clips franchise owners are constantly bombarded by corporate with all kinds of process documents, monthly reports and strategic initiatives. To help salon managers keep everything in place, we concepted and developed a web app with everything they need in one place.
The value of convenience
As expected, it was quite a tough sell to convince GC corporate that spending money on an app would produce enough of a tangible return. So we did a lot of the upfront work on spec. But because we had conducted thorough user research about use cases and potential solutions, we were ready with a home run app by the time we unveiled it to the suits.
And because we were shorthanded in the digital department, I got to handle the UX design (content mapping, user testing, wireframing, prototyping) on this project.
